Extreme poverty coupled with lack of access to clean water, decent sanitation, good hygiene practices, medical care, and poor education are the most common root causes of widespread hunger and malnutrition throughout the world. We are currently supporting healthcare for elderly, building clinics and supply of equipment and facilities, generating awareness and implementing Government health programs, addressing health and sanitation issues with special focus on women and children in rural areas.

We are managing more than 20 educational projects across the Districts in Mashonaland East province. We are managing educational projects working with the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education in providing educational support to orphans and vulnerable children and this has now entered season 3 after receiving overwhelming response from the community, donors and other stakeholders.

Children across the world – especially those born into extreme poverty, lacking adequate parental support, and/or living in orphanage care – are vulnerable to abuses of their rights and exploitation in various forms, including child trafficking.
Our extensive experience working with children at high risk of mistreatment, abandonment, and exploitation (as well as with their families and communities) led Rosa Care Organisation to make Child Protection a priority in our work. Our Child Protection programs are mostly centered around women’s empowerment initiatives in communities. We help out-of-school girl children register in formal schools, providing basic life skills, education to street and working children, to ensure that all children (some are orphans, some infected/affected by HIV/AIDS) have access to formal education and be provided with opportunities for overall development.
